My wife and I moved to Solivita in 2019. We were looking to escape from the harsh, cold weather of Minnesota and what we found was a little piece of paradise in central Florida called Solivita. Although we both miss our family who still reside in Minnesota, the decision to pull up roots and relocate to sunny Florida proved to be one of the best life decisions that we have ever made.
I graduated in 1991 with a B.S. in Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls. I was a co-captain of the UWRF baseball team and an all-conference outfielder three times in my four year college career.

After college, I took my first job with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections as a state Probation & Parole Agent. I left the department after five years and pursued a career with my father in the CNC machining industry. I also have experience in the freight forwarding industry where I was employed as an international air export manager for approximately fifteen years. I also owned a flooring installation company that specialized in stone, ceramic and porcelain tile installations in both residential and commercial applications.
I most recently picked up the sport of pickleball. I am a member of the Solivita Smashers Pickleball Club. I also enjoy spending time at the many pools that Solivita has to offer and I am working on my golf game. The warm weather and sunshine of central Florida is perfect for walking my dog and riding bicycle.

I meant to write this earlier but we got busy getting settled. We want to let you know how happy we were with Eric during our home search in Solivita. The first day we talked to him we wanted to see a house immediately as houses were going fast. He set that up. We continued to contact him to look at more houses as they came up. We did finally bid on one but lost out on the bid. Eric then suggested we go talk to Jim in new home sales. It was a good decision and we put in a contract.We were still living in Wisconsin and Eric kept us regularly informed on progress with photos. When it came to closing he did walk through with us and pointed many details we had missed.
Eric was extremely personable, made us feel comfortable, and helped us get what we needed without being pushy (like we had experienced with other realtors).
We love our home and Solivita!

Wanted to share our experience with Eric.
Late last year we decided to purchase a home in the Solivita Development. Since my Sister is a resident, we asked her if she knew any Realtors. She recommended Eric Holt. We contacted Eric and spoke for a while to help him understand what we were looking for. We found him to be very helpful with both gathering our wants as well as making some recommendations.
Eric was helpful with both forwarding potential homes as well as following up on others that we located and forwarded to him. Before long we located a home that we liked and decided to make an offer. Eric handled the offer process very professionally keeping us informed throughout. We were fortunate enough to have our offer accepted and purchased the home. Once again Eric’s help and guidance through the closing process was extremely helpful and honestly made it rather painless.
Finally, because of the positive experience that we had with Eric, we decided to utilize him to find renters as we are unable to relocated at this time. He was able to find a nice couple to rent our home for a year. However, it was discovered that the home was due to be pained prior to the HOA being willing to issue the final approval. While I signed up a painter, Eric worked with the HOA bringing the situation to a successful conclusion.
In closing, we would definitely use Eric’s service again and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
