Osceola Regional Medical Center is in Kissimmee and is just a half hour away. This accredited 368-bed hospital specializes in brain surgery, orthopedic care, and hosts a heart and vascular institute. It’s where residents go for advanced procedures and Level 2 trauma care.
Orlando Regional Medical Center & Florida Hospital in Celebration
U.S. News & World Report ranked Orlando Regional Medical Center and the Florida Hospital in Celebration as two of the top regional hospitals in 2017. You can be there in about 20 minutes thanks to the new Poinciana Parkway.
Orlando Health Orthopedic Institute
This facility is known as “Orange Ave” because it’s located on Orlando’s Orange Avenue. Our residents recommend it for orthopedic procedures and surgeries.
MD Anderson Cancer Center
MD Anderson has been ranked as one of the top two hospitals in cancer care every year since U.S. News & World Report began its annual “America’s Best Hospitals” survey in 1990. There is a facility in nearby Orlando. We have a friend who recommends MD Anderson after receiving treatment for stomach cancer.
